Day 5. HCMC. 3.11.24
Day 1 of the cycling tour 0 kms.
'Meet at the hotel; take a fascinating tour to explore the historical sites of downtown Saigon or Ho Chi Minh, visiting famous places such as the War Remnants museum and the Presidential Palace. Go to garage for the bike fitting. Having dinner at a local restaurant and our guide will have a trip briefing. Discover the city by a cyclo (rickshaw) or on foot. Overnight in Saigon.'
Early breakfast and met our tour guide, Mr Toan (Tom) at 8 am ready to explore on foot.
Our first stop was at the Presidential Palace. There was a lot of information to take in. I have photographed the information boards and hopefully put them with the appropriate photos.

From there we walked to the war remnants museum.
At this stage I felt ill from the atrocities we humans are capable of and I left the museum and headed to cafe to wait for the others.
On the walk home we saw some beautiful dresses.
After a rest and blogging we headed out in a mini bus with our guide to get fitted for our bikes. It rained on the return journey.
Our guide is taking us to a restaurant for dinner and then we will walk home again if it's not raining ☔.

Some of Saigon's night life.
We had a delicious feast for dinner. Early night tonight to rest my weary legs after walking ~12 kms.
