5.39 am, out our bedroom window.

5.4 am. Early morning up on the deck, with the moon still reflecting on the water.

The sun was starting to rise over the rocks, 6.07 am.

Chicken Rock.

We are heading up to the cave on the right.

7.13 am and we are almost at our first adventure for the day. The amount of boats heading this was way is crazy.

The line to get to the cave entrance.
Sun Sot Cave is the largest limestone cave in Halong Bay and the 2nd largest cave in Vietnam. It has 3 chambers,  2 being large, and covers an area of 12,000 square metres.

We came out the otherside and headed back down the pathway to our tender.

A happy little Vegemite after another beautiful morning.
Heading back to the harbour to disembark.
Our bus delivered a huge load of food to the boats before taking us on a 3 hr journey to Hanoi.

We are staying at the Lighthouse hotel.

A quick stop to check out our room then we headed out to stretch our legs for a bit.

We came across train street.

Trains come along here and people just get off the tracks and sit/stand and watch. It is very narrow.  Lots of eateries.  We will come back here tomorrow to see the train.

I think this may be the first bakery I have seen in Vietnam.
A motor repair shop on the side walk.
A fake but pretty tree.
We had dinner at a multi storey restaurant.  The food was delicious and plentiful.

We walked home via the night markets.
