Day 4. HCMC. 2.11.24
The not so spectacular view from our room windows.
We have another free day to explore. Greg is taking us to 'bird school' before breakfast.
Live bird food for sale, crickets, wriggling worms
'Bird school' Young birds are hung up in their cages near older birds so they can learn lots of different 'songs'. It was very beautiful to see and hear. A lovely way to start our day. Thank you Greg.
I don't remember the name of the park but it was very peaceful. Lots of people were doing various types of exercise.
Line dancing.
People don't sit or walk on the grass in HCMC. They sit on mats on the pathways.
We headed back to the hotel for breakfast.
Then out for another walk around town.
Hindu temple.
I couldn't stay in the temple for long as the smell of the incense was giving me a headache.

Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon
Walked down book street.
Next we wandered through an expensive shop. Reminded me of Myers store with all the Christmas stuff outside.
Headed back for lunch and a rest. We'd walked ~9 kms.
Mark and I went for a short wander on our own. I had my first coffee for the day. I've been drinking green tea instead.
Lots of flowers for sale at the market. We've seen some interesting things on backs of motor bikes, including a full sized refrigerator this morning.
Shared a green tea cheese cake.
Markie was a bit tired so we decided to rest before we head out again for dinner with the gang at Pho 2000. U.S President Clinton also ate here.
Today we have walked ~13kms
Today seemed warmer than yesterday but the weather channel said it got to 32°
Maybe another photo or 2 to come.
