Day 25. The Haven. 23.11.24

Our plane landed at 6.15am, about 45 minutes later than scheduled but was uneventful. Cleared the airport easily and picked the car up by 7.30. Even the hwy was a pretty good run.

Big thanks goes to Wendy,  who did a wonderful job of sorting out any issues that popped up on our adventure. I think we are all glad to be back on home ground. It's pub night tonight and I don't think anyone will be having a rice dish any time soon. 

A couple of familiar views 💕

We only had one stop on the way home, in Howard to grab a few essentials and was home about 11.30am.

Our weeds and bamboo have had a growth spurt in the few weeks we have been away. There was 67 mm of rain in the gauge. 

While I would happily go back to Vietnam and see more of the rural areas, I don't think I could ever ride there again.  The traffic was crazy, scary and chaotic.

According to strava, we rode ~420kms and walked ~120kms on this trip. We went on 4 different boat rides while away, our first being in Brisbane.
