Day 23. Hanoi. 21.11.24
Today is our last day to explore in Vietnam. We wandered off to the Old Quarter to have a look and then walked by the lake to catch up with the others for a coffee before wandering back along the otherside of the lake. We walked 6.6 kms. I took a few random shots of buildings and people. Apparently in the Old Quarter some of the narrow streets date back over a thousand years old. They remind me of some of the streets we saw in Istanbul.
Vietnamese housing. The traffic still amazes me.
Bikes carry a huge variety of things.
The Old Quarter has an array of small shops selling numerous goods arranged along themed streets.
A whole street that would give Bunnings a run for their money.
Dodging and weaving to try and walk down the pathway.
We found a whole street full of Christmas.
So many people posing for photos in Vietnam.
Me posing!!
Getting ready for a youth concert outside the Opera house.
A huge rooftop garden.
Millions of notes left at the coffee shop by customers.
Our new room upgrade is very luxurious.

Separate toilet and shower.
The room divider has a TV on either side.

Treated myself to a massage this afternoon and a long, bubble bath.
One of the little touches in our room. We'd already eaten the banana. Everyone is ready to head home tomorrow.
Tonight's dinner was at Joseph's, hotels restaurant.
