Day 22. Hanoi. 20.11.24

Free day to explore. 

The view from our little balcony. Looking down a little laneway. 

Today we went to the fine arts museum. 

In the museum shop they had these nail and wool pictures above. I recall doing these at school.

Pearl inlaid furniture. 

Coffee stop after the museum.

Wendy and I continued our walk to a high end shopping centre and a bakery before we got home.

We are having a quiet afternoon at the hotel before we go out for an Indian meal.

We had a quick dip in the cool pool, I tried the cool jacuzzi and we had a lovely coffee at the roof top bar.

Bit hard to get a good sunset photo. 

We had dinner at Masala Art. It was really good. 

I had chicken tikka biryani.

Mark had mutton bhuna gosht.

When we returned from dinner we were offered to upgrade 1 of our rooms. Wendy didn't want to pack up and move, the boys wouldn't have wanted to share a double bed,  Carmel and Glen had gone for a walk so apparently tomorrow night Mark and I will have the most luxurious room in the hotel.
